STAND UP AND CHEER YOUR TEAM HAS WON!!!

So it is Super Bowl week and although my favorite team is not in it this year I think back to when they were.  I recall so very well shouting and cheering for joy with each and every good play right to the end as we had victory.  I did this so much that my voice was almost gone the next day.  This made me happy though, because the weakness of my voice would show everyone how hard I had cheered for my team.  And guess what!?!  People did notice and I got the response I wanted, which was praise for being a good fan of my team.

A couple weeks back a family that my family is close to had a miracle happen to them that was straight from God. (As all miracles are.) This was a huge earth shattering life changing biblical type miracle.  And when I heard about it I was happy, amazed and humbled.  I had to go tell people. So I did, however the 1st person I told did not see it as I did nor the second or third.  So I got very quite and did not talk about it anymore.  Until I went to church and told my church family about this miracle, and they were uplifted with gladness of my sharing.

From this experience I gained two thoughts that I have been praying about.

1.)   Why didn’t I get off the phone after hearing about this miracle and yell and cheer since my God had made this miracle happen?  We yell and cheer for our teams, put stickers on our cars, wear clothes with our favorite team’s logo. I WANT A FOAM FINGER THAT SAYS JESUS IS #1!!!!

2.)   Spending time and sharing with my church family is so uplifting. My fellow friends in Christ lift me up daily. For this I thank God and them.  I can’t wait to get together and cheer for Jesus with you. Maybe we can start a  Jesus wave!!!
